fun with css
For those of you who do not get it, in CSS a is the default style for a link, a:hover would be the style when you hover your mouse over a link, and finally a:active would be when you click a link. See it in action!
pessimism glass
A minimalist’s take on pessimism. Interestingly enough, this was the first version of what eventually became my design “Half of a Glass”.
missing
Where have all the snowmen gone? A distribution piece commemorating all of the missing snow friends of my childhood, but welcoming spring time and the amazing weather ahead.
seeing rainbows
This was inspired by one of the first, post-winter, rainy days. Sometimes you just have to imagine you are seeing rainbows.
yay feet!
A fun take on how we dress our feet. I am definitely looking forward to having more freedom of how I present mine now that it is finally getting warm. Yay feet, and yay spring.
r.i.p. trees
This project is intended to make people using public printers think about the paper they print on and the trees the paper comes from. A satirical memorial to the trees lost in paper manufacturing.
full mooner
Pun intended. It is humorous to think that the moon is “mooning” us every night it is out in full.
black tie affair
A bow tie on a tie? What a ridiculous notion. Yes, maybe, but this black tie refuses to down dress the occasion.
hanger
Exploring death by hanging rather satirically (and with another pun). One of my more morbid pieces, but if it makes any difference it was originally conceptualized on Halloween. Happy Halloween?
standing out
This design is a simple commentary on the value of creativity. A clean statement about taking pride in the characteristics that make someone different - in this dot’s case, an artistic characteristic.
manhattan
The city is beautiful and the drink is smooth. This design, a pun, is likely pretty self-explanatory.
snitches have all the fun
Inspired by Harry Potter (again), this design surrounds the envy felt by all those lacking magic. The balls of the muggle sports just wish they could fly around and have fun like the snitch.
half of a glass
In my pursuit to personify the dilemma of the half glass of water I produced this. Classic case optimist vs. pessimist.
